Off the whole family went to Te Anau, and hopefully to continue onto Milford Sound.
Te Anau was beautiful, and it was sunny! Finally, the third time was a charm. The first two times I headed of to the Fiordlands, the roads ended up closing from the rains and/or slides.
Mom says I have to give credit to Stas for some of the pictures, since he is now taking some of the photos. It is so nice have assistance in writing the blog. And, Mom says, he always takes the best landscape pictures.
I have also included some pictures of the remainders of the flooding left from the week before (when Carolyn, Monica and I attempted the Milford Sound adventure). Notice the picnic bench that was still under water.
