The girls are going to the Arthur Street School, which has Years 1 through 8. There are a total of 140 kids in the school. Sophia is in Year 3, and has about 19 kids in her class. Her teacher is Mrs. McLeod. She has swimming every Thursday and will soon be learning to play the recorder! On her first day of school a littler girl had asked her if she liked "Snacks", and Sophia responded, "Yes, I like snacks" and the little girl said, "I like snakes, too!" Apparently, Sophia did not understand her the first time with the accent!
Leah is in Year 6, and has Miss Elvines as a teacher. Her teacher is a triathlete here is New Zealand, and is very good. She will also be taking swimming lessons through school, and has also joined the choir! On her first day of school, Leah was told to get out her lunch at 11:00 o'clock to have something to eat. Well..... Leah thought it was lunch time and ate her lunch! Needless to say, at 12:30 pm, when lunch time came- she did not have anything to eat. After school, we had one starving kid!
