Dunedin Thieves Festival

It was a busy Saturday for us, and the weather was nasty! It was raining sideways, and the winds were blowing. It looked like a blustery day at the Oregon coast.

First we invited to morning tea by our next door neighbors. Mrs. Wyatt makes an amazing shortbread, and a tasty lemon cordial. A lemon cordial is what we call a lemonade. If you ask for a lemonade here, you will get a Sprite or 7-Up. It was lovely chatting with them, and the girls had a great time with their dog, Tammy.

In the early afternoon we headed out to the Dunedin Thieves Festival. There were craft booths, food, and some music. Unfortunately, the rain and wind put quite a damper on the festival.

We ate donuts, a Belgium waffle, and the girls each had an ice cream.

Leah decided to get her face painted!

It looks like the Eugene Saturday Market! Are you sure you're in NZ? :)

Beautiful Leah!

So do they serve tea too? Is that common in NZ?
